One-of-a-Kind Creations You'll Cherish for a Lifetime
Professional doll artist Myra Sherrod specializes in the creation of one-of-a-kind portrait, character and historically based pieces in polymer clay, stone clay, epoxy clay, wax and resin.
Largely self-taught, she is accomplished in a variety of doll-making mediums but for the last 15 years has embraced the "new clays" and devoted her efforts to working with them exclusively.
Myra has been featured as a guest artist in a variety of areas throughout the Midwest, where she often conducted sculpting demonstrations. She's also given classes in her doll-making techniques nationwide.
Her award-winning work has been exhibited in various gallery, museum and library settings, and has appeared in numerous national and local publications.
Myra is an artist member of the Original Doll Artists Council of America (ODACA) and currently serves a chairman of that organization's standards committee. In addition, she is a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs and a former member of the Academy of American Doll Artists and the National Polymer Clay Guild.
She welcomes inquiries about custom and commissioned work.
